Upon arrival in San Francisco, we’ll travel to Santa Cruz, where our journey begins.

During our time on California’s Central Coast, we’ll visit the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and stop at the peaceful Monarch Grove Sanctuary, where thousands of monarch butterflies gather each winter. You'll also join a whale-watching excursion and enjoy sunset views over the Santa Cruz Wharf following a tasting at Birichino Winery.

The trip also includes visits to some of the region’s most spectacular natural areas. We’ll walk among the towering redwoods of Big Basin Redwoods State Park, hike the coastal bluffs of Wilder Ranch State Park, and observe the elephant seals that gather at Año Nuevo State Park. Along the way, we’ll enjoy wine tastings at Beauregard Vineyards and Thomas Fogarty Winery.

After crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, we’ll spend time exploring the vineyards of Sonoma Valley before continuing to the scenic coastal town of Bodega Bay. Here, you can stroll through the harbor, take a 90-minute bay cruise, or visit locations made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s film The Birds.

We’ll also stop at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center before concluding the trip in San Francisco. There, you’ll have free time to ride the historic San Francisco Cable Car System, explore Fisherman's Wharf, or discover the hands-on exhibits at Exploratorium.

After a memorable journey filled with wildlife encounters, stunning scenery, and exceptional California wines, we’ll transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home.
